i still want to know if they are fans of Piebald.....
and then i answer my question.. when i see one of them wearing a Piebald shirt...
thats where i figured they got their name from.

I met MAH's merch guy (or whatever he was) at warped. He was absolutely awesome, and if I wasn't already a fan of these guys he certiainly would have made me.
I can't wait for this cd, it's gonna be awesome!

their singer larry has gotten sooooooo much better from the No Way Out days. his voice sounds so much more fluid and hes holding notes in the video for The Process (which is the only song ive heard)

Agreed 100%. That's what happens when a vocalist trains with U2's vocal coach for $69,000 an hour.

Anyone else think this band fell off after the Certainity Kills EP???

what do you mean fell off? you mean like got worse? in my opinion they separated themselves a bit more with the newer stuff. the older stuff displayed mildly clever lyrics with pretty good musicianship, but that couldve been found elsewhere. with the newer songs, they are coming into more of their own style, or at least thats how it is in my opinion

that's a pretty insane price, are you positive on that? that's almost asking for way to much.

Sounds really good. I remember hearing them on PV and they had like no plays. Now they are at over one million. They have improved alot! I'll be picking this up.

agreed!! his voice is wayyy better. i'm actually listening to "The Courtesy of the Stars" and comparing it to "The Process". i congratulate Larry and the other boys. they've come a long way.

I remember that too ... everyone was like "Who's My American Heart"?? Well, that question has now been answered. Great guys, and good music.
Some really nice guys; met them at warped and they had like 7857828634 signings; probaly because they're our hometown heroes. Oh yeaah, I ran into their drummer, Steven at Comicon, he winked at me?
these songs sound alright, but i like their old songs much better
the new songs sound too "laid back" for my american heart
and personally, i liked his voice how it originally was

i can tell you in 100% certainty that the name my american heart is a piebald reference, and that they do indeed like piebald
