In celebration of the recent grand opening of store_001 (http://www.myspace.com/store_001) I will be doing an interview with the owners Justin Beck from Glassjaw (http://www.glassjaw.com) and Lee of Merchdirect. If you have any questions or want to know more about the store leave the questions in the replies and I will try my best to get them answered.

Ask them if they have plans to open anymore of these stores. & if so (hopefully), where would they be?

Beck is making bank from Merchdirect, and will from this store. I am sure that is part of the reason there is no Glassjaw right now.

How many times do you think the grand opening will be delayed due to an illness in the staff? Are the staff opening their own stores regardless?

what types of music are they gonna carry stuff for? like all types of 'punk' and other genres?

It's called PUBLICITY AND MARKETING, that's what an interview is. Why would he want to market, discuss and promote a band that's been dead for two years and counting? There's obviously a reason why this interview is being conducted and it's to help promote his new store, not his dead band. It would be like conducting an interview with John Nolan about Taking Back Sunday and "Tell All Your Friends" and totally missing the point about Straylight Run and their new EP coming out. It just doesn't work that way.

If that is a joke regarding someone's illness thats not funny at all. Daryl is a close friend of mine and even living through this agonizing and terrible illness isnt enough it breaks his heart everytime he can't play. Please show alittle sympathy 'cause its really not funny. Thank you.

I realize the impact Crohn's has and how serious it is, but shouldn't the band refrain from making all these touring plans when it's clear there's a severe chance of Daryl re-entering the hospital like he has in recent times?

Well there is always a chance that it might reoccur and daryl does his best to cope with it and go on tour and play shows. No one ever knows when this is going to flare up there is no cure. Everyone understands the frustration and what not but hey thats life and somethings are more important like someone's health and be frustrated and dissapointed all you want just dont make comments like that it's really unnecessary. Thank You.
