Okay so I'm looking into getting a new guitar amp (all I have is a fender frontman 15G), I don't have an insane amount of money to spend but I need something that can keep up with a drumset. So suggest away if you would be so kind. Also, I need a decent bass amp and I have been thinking about this one: http://www.music123.com/Behringer-Ultrabass-BX1200-i32823.music Any help would be appreciated.

Buy any used marshall valvestate head, it's perfect for a half stack. You could get one used for as little as 200 from guitar center or something. All you'd then need is a cab to play it out of. You could be a cheap shitty marshall cab for like 200 or you could get a nice condition cheaper brand used. Definetly buy used because you'll get more for your money. Try and find someone selling an old amp, if you can't then check out guitar center or something.

Hmm.

Why upgrade to something really average when in a few years time you're going to want something better. You should never comprimise on quality because you want it now IMO. If you are going to go with a cheap amp find a Valve amp at the lower end. The valve amps have a much higher output (along with natrually better sound).

Go look on Ebay though is my advice. Do you have any specifics you want out of this amp? Distortion on it, metal style playing etc?

The bass amp looks fine for what you want, yet again it's not the best on quality but if you want something that has a moderate output and all right tone, then go for it.

Good advice....Im going from a 15w Ibanez starter amp to a Marshall TSL602....save your money and buy a real amp...

Buying an amp is relatively easy, but finding the right amp for waht kind of sound you want is difficult... sorta. look into what kind of sound you like, your favorite bands, what kind of amps do they use? if you like thier sound look into what amps they use. you may not get thier "tone" but youll get that sound you like.
