I'm constantly surprised at how often I hear praise for Kings of Leon among peers on campus. They're utterly pedestrian at best. This doesn't mean I'm sick of hearing about them per se, as it's unavoidable. Just surprised. Same goes for Crystal Castles.

I don't listen to the radio and pretty much choose the music I listen to, so I don't have too many issues with hearing bands.
