Yes.
For one, the things they did, other bands did better. Second, they didn't even emulate these bands well.
Too ambitious of a project for them. This is coming from a Thrice fan too.

I and II are complete pieces of shit. Fire made me throw up in my mouth a little bit and Water was meh to the hundreth degree.

Vheissu is pretty much the only thing they did was great.
Artist is good.
IOTS and IC are okay.
And Alchemy Index is terrible.

Vheissu is my favorite Thrice album followed by Artist so we can no doubt agree on that, I know Thrice is writing new songs currently and since they like to change up there song styles alot everyone seems to be curious what route they will be taking with the next record, as I sure am.

Read my post closer and you'll notice I said TAITA is good.
Also, liking only one band's album = not being a fan?

They have talent, they've just only truly delivered on it once.
