Band rules. I know John and Georgia (The Baroness) love these guys, and even Vinh digs them, so yeah. Listen.

I highly doubt this is who you are talking about www.myspace.com/thearrowssa (http://www.myspace.com/thearrowssa)

EDIT: Wait I think I found them, they sound like if Northern Room and Seal had a baby.

One of the five best heavy albums ever? What is that?

Also, what do you think of Field Studies?
The production on the Lymbyc System songs is my current favorite. Love the fuzziness.

Edited the post to include more info. And I like it but I don't think it's anything special on either band's part.

Nice.

And the lymbyc tracks are really good, the twdy ones are boring as hell.

Man, I really like the music, I just can't get into the dudes voice, idk.
Do they still have their albums on myspace?

Dude's voice is definitely different, but I like it. Music absolutely slays.

I may have to change my favorite track off of Modern Art & Politics from "Whores Will Have Their Trinkets" to "I Can Hear Your Lungs Rattling."

Yeah, i love these guys. From my hometown of Brisbane too (well, they're via the Sunshine Coast). Modern Art & Politics is amazing. I managed to get their last split on 12" when it came out too. I bet it's pretty sought after now, with them becoming more well known and all :-d

Modern Art & Politics is one of the most underrated albums of last year. Such a fantastic album, and practically no recognition that I've seen.

Very jealous of you Wobbie for owning the split 12". As you can see, it's my current avatar, ha. Just when I was gonna order it, it sold out. Was so pissed.

Hobbledehoy Records posted some information about the second full-length here (http://hobbledehoyrecords.com/2010/04/arrows-new-album-recording-update/). I am so pumped for this record.

Teaser Trailer for the new record called Try and Stay Upright here (http://vimeo.com/12076651). This album is going to be so good.

The new album is absolutely amazing!! Though, i'm really disappointed at how short it is. It's being billed as a full length album, but it's only 6 tracks and 27 minutes long. But it's a pretty fantastic album.

They're playing a free show at Fat Louie's pool hall next Saturday too. Plus Jamie Hay from A Death In The Family is playing it too. Can't wait :-d
