I hate college shows like this, I went to see The Cool Kids last April and it was the 'SpringFest' the lady on the phone told me it was 'students only' and it was a free show but I got in just fine. Granted, it was an outdoors show.

I called the school today and tickets can only be bought at their box office. No student id required like TCNJ. Makes things alot easier. as far as I know, you can only get them by going to the school to buy them. which sucks cause my boyfriend and I can't get up there to buy them. Wed love to do will clal and order them on the phone but I do not think that is going to be allowed :(

yeah i would just call. i think it's gonna be hard to get tickets if you don't know somebody because usually they wait til all the kids who go to the school gets the tickets first. however, no one at ramapo goes to the student events so there is a good chance that you'll get tickets if you're patient.

It's in Mahwah, NJ. that's north jersey. you'll probably be a little late for class, but you can make the trip. it wouldn't be completely out of the way.

it's hard to say if it'll be sold out. maybe not by the first day, but certainly soon. we had a lot of options to choose from and the majority of the school wanted brand new to perform so i think that a lot of students are going to be attending. i'm bringing 2 friends with me so you also have to take that into consideration. i would just get the tickets as soon as possible.

I never heard of that one, I think I thought that b/c there seemed to me to be very many people from VA making an effort to get up for the show,. I just rationalized that oh it must be on the closer to VA side in order for these people to want to come. Alas, I forgot that bn fans know no state lines when it comes to catching as many shows as possible.

i just got back from Ramapo College. apparently, tickets went on sale at 10AM. i got there at around 10:15 and there was already a line. it moved relatively quickly and smooth, but the person above me is right. there's a limit on the tickets too.

you're allowed 2 tickets at $15 with a school ID
otherwise 4 regular tickets at $20

people were buying more than one. i myself bought 4. for myself and 3 friends. this will sell out quickly so get there today.

you have to also remember though that the concert was generated more towards ramapo students. some colleges don't even let the public come. they just wanted to make sure that most students got the tickets. after all, the tickets were selling like crazy.

My friend and I waited in line all day for FOB secret show tickets in Philly and then almost sold them to some guy in a Ralph Lauren shirt for $400. The venue refused to stamp his hand so he could use them though. Twas gay.

I know it is kind of late but if anyone cannot go or has any extra and is willing to sell me their tickets, or if you know anyone that is trying to get rid of theirs... I'm about ready to sell my soul! but really, I am willing to pay a decent price if you need a little extra cash... I have been trying desparately to find tickets and have thusfar been unsuccessful :-( This past week I missed Vanessa Carlton who is my favorite artist of all time next to Brand New because I could not get off of work and it's depressing to think I might also miss Brand New playing in my own home town. I have my fingers and toes crossed right now that someone has something left!

Anyway, I would be happy with just 2, so I could take my sister, but if anyone has access to 3 or 4, my brother and friend also would love to come!

I sent to all of the bands via myspace, I doubt they'll ever see it though.

Yeah, I'm planning on getting there at like 7 am and just walking around all day looking for extras. I am now bringing a 3rd friend so if I can't find a 3rd ticket after a 3 hour drive, well that would really suck.

Sounds good! I will have a line buddy! I live in Mahwah so I think I'm gonna ride to Ramapo around 7 just to scope it out and see if anyone is crazy enough to be on line. If there are people I will join, if not I'll go get some breakfast and come back. My sister will be joining me on line but not until after she babysits. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so any other all-day line sitters... bring shelter and warmth! Umbrellas, ponchos... I will bring extra umbrellas but they will only go so far I am sure. Anyway, I'm not sure what I'll be wearing but I'll wear a rainbow bandana and you will be able to find me :) maybe we can take shifts sitting in cars to dry off. As for tickets: I joined the Brand New Ramapo College event on facebook, and there were people advertising extra tickets. One kid was nice enough to sell me his one extra ticket, and he was so lovely to me, he went out of his way to help me find another ticket from some kid around campus. I've come to find that a LOT of Ramapo kids went and got on line and bought the max number of tickets with intention to either sell them to friends or to just plain sell them. I've heard of people who have 3 and 4 extras trying to sell them for $75 a pop which is RIDICULOUS. If you really want to go and you don't live too far, I'd say just try coming and getting on line. Guaranteed there will be kids trying to sell tickets from a friend who bailed last second or whatever the circumstance. Usually you will find people desperate to sell who aren't going to try and rip you off. It's a lot harder to rip people off right to their faces, anyway. I still need more tickets but am planning to try to buy them off people tomorrow and call my friends as I find tickets for them and tell them to come and get on the line. That seems to be a reasonable system! Anyway good luck to all the last minute ticket searchers. If you really want them, you can find them!
