I would go just to see the Higher, but Paint By Numbers is sweet as well. This should be a good show.

not that i disagree but im curious to why you say that? ive honestly never heard any music from still life projector but im always interested in what people think a good "live show" is.

i guess i look for energy.

i think the french kicks are an awesome band but that is one band i will never see live again

they had energy, but i don't know, i just don't think they pull off what they're going for. they've only got one guitar player, and he was sloppy and his guitar sounded way too chunky for the stuff he was playing. the lead singer was boring, and overall it just wasn't very entertaining to watch. they look like a bunch of old guys trying to dress like 17 year old scene kids. they could really benifit from a second guitar player, because half the time the guitar player was playing high leads and it just left the music sounding really empty. and the bass player was playing a korg microsynth... it had to be the most unnessary thing ever. he would just touch one key and make a little noise every now and then. i don't know, the live show just seemed really forced and like they were trying to be like a lot of younger bands (i.e. from first to last). they did have energy though, and the drummer is solid live.

PLEASE COME HERE :wow:

I agree with both people above me, the higher's latest is an extremly solid album. It has slowly grown to become one of my favorites this year.

haha it seems like a lot of bands just stick a few synth keys here and there .. some do it very well, some do not at all. they do look like a bunch of old dudes.

i wonder what there older band sounded like??

If you think age 19, 21, 23 and 23 are old, then yes, STILL LIFE PROJECTOR is old. Jeez, give me fucking break. Keep talking shit.

Edit: To whomever gave me negative points for saying this is absolutely retarded. I figured saying this would be a bad thing, but everyone has an opinion. And you had to call me a homo?? Haha, why don't you jump on the "i hate you b/c you have an opinion too" bandwagon!

Scary kids scaring kids (with their music). That band fucking blows, before you fuckers tell me "stop jumping on a band wagon" by disliking them, tell them jump off the screamo/shit bandwagon first. I'd get more enjoyment out of watching my cat play with a ball of yarn than listening to this horrible excuse for a band.

If you think age 19, 21, 23 and 23 are old, then yes, STILL LIFE PROJECTOR is old. Jeez, give me fucking break. Keep talking shit. Keep sucking Tony's dick and putting out shitty music. Still Life Projector are a Juliana Theory without nuts. If you can't handle somebody "talking shit" than you probably shouldn't be in the music industry to begin with, or America for that matter.

Just for your info, last time I checked, Stutterfly really sucked. Have they improved yet? Oh wait! Rise is trying to get Corretta Scott exposure by having them tour with Stutterfly! Haha, that's awful, and piss poor management.

The Higher rule and those dudes are so fucking chill. They need to get off of Fiddler because that label does shit for their bands. So many managers and agents I know refuse to work with the band strictly bc Fiddler has absolutely no push. Sad. I don't blame The Bled for slipping through contractual agreements. Smart move.

yea other than this site, i have seen nothing for the higher anywhere. They have such potential to, their catchy, great lyrics, and good live show.

Im pretty sure Stutterfly was never on rise and i agree they suck but they are on Maverick Records.

Rise is not a bad label either. Rise is distributed by Victory Records and RED Distribution. They promote there bands, there bands do good tours and they have had bands move onto bigger labels.

ps ever we fall (ex rise now on Hopeless) is going to be huge.

ps. the higher is amazing and fiddler send my pre ordered Histrionics about 2 weeks after the offical release.

Lets think about this 4 of Rise Records band's have moved up to bigger lables, Ever We Fall (Hopeless), Anatomy of A Ghost (Fearless), Small Towns (Triple Crown), Fear Before March Of Flames (Equal Vision).

Sounds like there doing good things for their bands.

think you saw the wrong band or are getting them confused with someone else they have two guitar players i just saw them and they have 3 members under the age of 21? so they are not old? or is 19 old these days think you might be confused?

the higher is amazing , so in love with their cd, the deserve so more attention ! fiddler sucks! i don't like that label at all, and about rise , i agree with the persons who speak positive about rise , rise is a good label for beginning bands with a lot of talent , they will be promoted and pass on to a higher level...
