My guitar has alot of random spots/specks, really annoying. Where can I get some cleaner that will make it nice and shiny. And obviously won't damage anything.

Local music shop? Guitar center? I just got a bottle of Fender polish, it came with a rag, and I went to town. It works well on poly, but I can't speak to what it would do to nitro.

im just curious, is a wood floor cleaner safe, the kind that are designed to protect the laminate and natural color of wood?

*thinks* I guess it would be...though, I'm not sure I want any more layers of anything (if that floor protector does form a layer, I really don't have a clue) on a guitar with a poly finish. Shit's choked enough as it is. But in a pinch, fuck yea! And if it's in the house, makes more sense than buying the fender shit that gave me a nosebleed anyway.

I wouldn't use floor cleaner.

It's a poly finish, I'm assuming. You can't strip that shit with a chemical stripper. Floor cleaner can't do any harm.
