not that it really matters, but if he does, he doesnt do it while they are touring. i read in an article once that they all chose not to drink for the fact of keeping alcohol out of the way and not letting it consume them. that way they dont become some of the bands they have seen turn into assholes and such. what patrick said in the interview is "none of us drink to keep touring as easy as possible for us." not sure if those were the exact words but u get the idea...

I enjoyed the article...for the most part. But I have the same gripe with this article as every other rolling stone article: focus on drugs and alcohol. The first part of the article was a making a big deal that they don't drink or do drugs...so what? Rolling Stone focuses so much on that shit it makes the articles semi-retarded. What is the big deal with it? I drink, I don't do drugs...but I don't really give a fuck about hearing whether or not so and so does drugs...if anything when bands admit to doing hard drugs, it makes me lose respect. But, that could just be me.
