Lately I've been thinking there's more to life than just being really really ridiculously good looking.

Being an actor or model has nothing to do with their musical abilities; however, it's easier for them to get signed.

Shane West, who played the main love interest of Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember plays guitar for the fucking GERMS. I have sooo much respect for that dude now!

Isn't the singer in 30 Seconds To Mars an actor?

Jared Leto, yep.

This is a ridiculous question. It's like saying "can a plumber make good music?" or "can a high school english teacher make good music?"

Mos Def was an actor before he was a rapper, and he's amazing at both.
Jared Leto should stick to acting.

I saw him for free on my block. Pretty awesome. Go philly.
I feel like when an actor, model, or whatever, starts singing, it's more of a way to just start earning an extra income and spread their face than it is about actually appreciating the art.
I'll cite Jared Leto, he's a damn good actor too.

Acting I'd tend to agree with, it's not like anyone becomes an actor just as a side job, but modeling I disagree with. Few people really understand how the modeling industry works. It's rare that anyone who is at all successful in the industry gets into modeling because they really want it as a career, virtually every model I know ended up doing it by chance to earn some extra money on the side and just got lucky with a few big campaigns. So I'd say that for that job at least the modeling itself is the extra income and the music is what they really enjoy.

The whole Disney actor/actress as well as Jared Leto prove this to be a no. Mos Def on the other hand is talented in both fields. That's about all I can think of.

Scarlett Johnannsen put out that Tom Waits cover album. Terrible musically but it seems like it was just really to pay tribute to her favorite musician, so I respect it

You know I was kidding and I hate those movies and those people (with the exception of Vanessa, because well...yeah). Haha I would never be caught dead honestly saying something good about those movies lol.

No, his voice is mixed with a guy called Drew Seeley or something (I know Ive spelt that wrong) because his vocal tone wasn't quite right. However he sings the entirety of his work on HSM2 and 3. So yeah, you're wrong.

Okay, I'm wrong. The site I saw it on is wrong, also. So, it's not entirely my fault.
Anyway, everyone on those movies suck balls.

Can you chew gum and walk at the same time?
I have this weird inner-ear problem that actually prohibits me from doing so. It also prohibits me from listening to bad music created by actors/models.
