i need to know what is needed for a acoustic set at a concert. it will be about a 100 people inside most likely. my friend is putting on the show and I am his manager, so i need to get this stuff together for him. if anyone can help of give me a link to a site that will help me, thank you so much.

I can give you a list.

First off a few questions:

Do the guitars have a line out?
Are you looking for a loud volume?

If you are using the line out, then you'll need some acosutic guitar amps. Depends on the volume for what you're going to use. If you only have small amps then you'll need Shure SM57's (Insturment mics) and you'll have to mic up the amps.

Alternately if the guitars don't have line out you'll have to mic them manually, so yet again Shure SM57's.

You'll need a good pa. With a good loud output and nice sound. The last thing you want to do is crank the mics for level and have feedback.

So you'll most likely need:

Guitars
Acoustic Guitar Amps (Optional)
Shure SM57 X how many guitars/basses/amps
A good PA
Mic stands, don't ever leave the mics on the ground
XLR leads. Try and get long ones so you only need one per mic.
Guitar leads.

Should be able to rent the gear hopefully.
