wow this is great news all around. a bright eyes tour is finally coming within reasonable driving distance to me, and it's at IU so i can probably score free tickets from freinds who go there. not to mention he will be playing old material. the only way this could be better would be if he was coming to ball state.
oh, and "we are free men" is the best bright eyes song ever, in my opinion.

Yep, I was happy to see that there are Jersey City dates when I'm actually home. Too many good songs. One of my favorites is "Oh You Are the Roots..." :)

I don't know, just something about that song that I can't get enough of.. But 'A Perfect Sonnet' comes in a close second...

its a shame he only plays new stuff lately...
That was only because they were the IWAIM DAIADU tours.
Spoon is only playing the Omaha show.
And I wish he was hitting up major cities for this one (Like Chicago, with Feist especially), but I guess it's nice for all the towns he is going to since most of them don't seem to get much show-wise.

small towns and colleges my ass...thanks for the dc date in constitution hall. for those of you who are unfamiliar with constitution hall, its a big fucking hall. that's where green day is playing on their upcoming tour for example.
so yeah, damnit. i dont wanna go to a bright eyes show and sit in seats 500 feet away with like 10000 people.
also, notice how MTV has the breaking news...hmmmmm mtv, bright eyes. figure it out folks. figure it out.

am i blind or is there no florida date? ehhh!!! conor can't do this to me!
Ihe put on an Amazing show with The Faint...Conor played "lover i dont have to love"at the digital ash tour...It was great...at one point he stood on the keyboard and it collapsed with him on top of it...
i wish their was a florida date...
I'll never forget the first Bright Eyes song I heard. It was "Sunrise, Sunset" and it scared the shite out of me. I couldn't get enough of it. I had never listened to a song that made me feel like that. I went out and bought Fevers And Mirrors and I was mindfucked. One of my favorite songs is "An Attempt To Tip The Scales." The "interview" is ridiculous but I think the song before the interview picks up is beautiful. I wish it would have been made into a complete song. "No need to focus if there's nothing that's worth seeing." What an amazing lyric. Hell, I'm gonna put it in my signature.

I'm gonna have to take a trip to Reno. I can't miss this.
so, I'm a huge Bright Eyes fan, don't get me wrong, I'm psyched that this is on absolute punk...but is Bright Eyes really punk? haha. anyways, not complaining, I love that they're here. just...struck me as strange :)
