is total shit compared to the old cd

Yeah ill admit it starts off good
but it just isnt the cd everyone fell in love with

first off i think the new cd is amazing. i can see where you're coming from, though. the first 4 or 5 tracks of of weak's end were...heavenly. i found new things to love about this cd. it's not as intricate as the first one, but the lyrics are great, and the buildups(i thought) were even better. the ending of Miss Behavin is unreal, and like you said the cd starts off great. i thought it ended well. win win situation has to be one of my favorite songs. i don't know, how many times have you listened to it?

I'm going to be the first to speak out against them here.

I really don't like Emery. I find their subject matter often drab and lacking. The guitar tones are mid-scooped so as a musician oten I find myself being bugged by the small things in their music. To me they sound too much like the norm of the scream/sing formula, when they try to do more lush instrument arangements they're nice but other bands do them better (Saosin for example).

This is just my opinion of course, I have only heard one song off the new album so perhaps I will check it out and my mind might even change.

Alright, i listened to it sum more, and it grew on me, but i dont think its just the same as the old cd

They've got some great songs, and then others are totally boring and derivative. Also the singers vocal style gets on my nerves at times.

walls is definately the best song but i wouldn't say the rest sucks.

It wasn't horrible, it just didn't do anything for me.

I do enjoy their new album quite a bit.
