I caught an early screening of the movie and although I thought the movie was pretty ho-hum, I thought John C. Reilly made a badass vampire.

They tried to make this a comedy and it doesn't work. I really used to like the books.

Should I bother seeing this? I used to love the books but I heard this was pretty bad.

Seems like John C. Reilly would play a really fucking bad Mr. Crepsley.

I give this movie like a 4/10. And that may be generous. I never read the books though so I can't relate the character. I thought John C. Reiley did a decent job.
