Its great, there is not a bad song on the album. In my opinon its better than anything Something Corporate did, it will make some fans out of pople who did not like SoCo as well.

From what I've heard of the album, it's pretty decent, but I'll have to pick up the complete package to be sure.

That's what I think. I like it more than any of the CD's SoCo did. I have been telling people this, I just need them to listen to the CD once it comes out. It's so awesome. I burned a copy for my friend she still hasn't listened. Lazy ass. lol.

Oh, I'm extremely excited for this CD. First CD in a while that I'm actually counting down when I will finally have my own legal copy. From what I have heard off it, I think it's amazing and better than anything SoCo ever did.

I don't know what it sounds like, all I've heard are the songs from Purevolume and that lame video that was posted on here. I'm trying to keep myself from the leaks so I can be extremly suprised when I listen to it tommorow. :)

i've been in the same boat, especially with all the good new harder releases like god forbid, etid, bled, aild, darkest hour and countless others coming out.

and all that being said, this album trumps all of them. it's just a masterpiece. call me crazy but it would have been THE summer album, but since it was released in august it kind of killed that idea.

I have been listening to this cd non-stop since it was released. I love it.

Andrew McMahon will be in my thoughts. I hope he gets well.

Yeah, for real... it coming out as it was supposed to, at the beginning of June, would have been REAL nice... Fucking cancer...

The CD is amazing. The lyrics are in my opinion better and more deep than anything from SoCo. It's great!
&Hope for andrew!!

PS: "Narly"... is spelt with a 'G'
It's: GNARLY, tehe.

I've been playing it at least 5 times a day since I bought it Wednesday.

It's not getting old either.

Though the songs I loved before the album came out, seem second to the other tracks now.

Amazing album.

Album of the year, but Socratic is up there fighting.

mad props to andrew for doing his own thing and going out there and putting out a solo project. I also hopes he gets better, but seriously, Is jacks all that good? it sounds like recycled So- Co with a hint of summer time. Sorry andrew, if you are gunna go solo, go big or go home, or at least do something original and don't have purevolume pimp ur shit. Enough said.

I assume it's 'Holiday From Real's "Fuck yeah, we can live like this" and "so I can score an eighth from the lesbians out west in Venice"...

The point of it was to write something on his own, not as a band... these are the songs that he would write when it's just him writing, not being influenced by the rest of the band... Plus, the lyrics are much more real... less 'punk rock princess' and emo-style lyrics, which albeit good, are story-like... these hit closer to home and are more, for a lack of a better phrase, brutally honest... At least, that's my take on it...
