Tiger Kills Teen During Senior Photo Shoot

MOUND VALLEY, Kan.
A Bengal tiger attacked and killed a teenage girl who was posing for her senior high school pictures at an animal sanctuary Thursday in southeast Kansas, authorities said.
The Labette County Sheriff's office identified the victim as Haley R. Hilderbrand, 17, of Altamont. A news release said Hilderbrand was at the Lost Creek Animal Sanctuary posing for a photo with the 7-year-old tiger, which was being restrained by its handler, when the animal attacked her.
Officers and handlers killed the animal. Emergency personnel were not able to revive Hilderbrand.

First of all, what a terrible senior photo. Second of all, didn't we learn anything from the homophobic tiger that attacked Sigfreid or Roy (not sure which one it was). These are WILD ANIMALS, the thing that disgust me most is seeing an animal put down for doing nothing more than following its instincts.

it IS dumb. and what was that before... a handler was holding back the tiger so that the girl could take the picture with it? it's a freaking tiger...not a pet. i blame the zoo.

yeah, people should just leave those animals alone. they are wild, huge and potentially lethal (well proven as we see)....just let them be in their habitat. They only become aggresive when they are not treated correctly.
