Okay, I was at my friends house (who is a mutual friend of mine and my ex) he comes over with his new girlfriend (this is like his 4th girlfriend sense we broke up, so its not like its shocking to me or anything) and she ends up sitting next to me while he's in the other room with some friends. First thing that flies out her mouth is... "Did you really date him [he's white] or is he just saying that?" Then she preceeded to ask me all types of questions about interracial dating like im an expert (maybe im just being annoying, but it really irritated me). Is it really that shocking that a multiracial [ or black ] female dates a white male?

Besides, whenever I'm in public and I see a interracial couple 9.9 times out of 10 it's a white woman and a black man thus my conclusion. I was offering suggestions for the OP, not you.

Haha, but it's true. And if not white, and I hate to quote the ignorant percentage of the white youth, but at least a black girl who "acts white." That right there is a godsend and extremely rare to come about, so in the meantime, white girls catch my eye. :)

:nod: For me, it's not even a skin color issue. I just prefer someone who is quiet, sensual rather than sexy, and artsy and I've never met a black girl who fulfills all those qualities.

It's not shocking, but it really isn't something that America as a whole has gotten used to, I don't think.

For me personally, I don't date interracially, not due to any sense of racism but I haven't found any one of a different race that has appealed to me honestly. Many people around me of different race follow general stereotypes (gangster etc.) unfortunately, which is not appealing what so ever.
