I sleep in shorts and tshirts year round, so this winter I bought one from the kids section of target (it's light blue with guitar playing monkeys and rainbows), cut the feet off, and wear it over pajamas as a blanket-ish thing... Kinda like a snuggie, but better!

I'd say the cool or creepy factor is decided by the adult wearing the onesie.
If an adult wears one, but keeps the fact that they wear one to them self, cool.
If an adult wears one, and wears it out to get the newspaper or mail, and makes it public knowledge, creepy.

I'd have to disagree, it is totally creepy. If someone see's you in it or not, doesn't change the fact that it's creeper or not.
