Lucky Boys Confusion (http://www.luckyboys.com) have posted a new song entitled "Straight From The Top" on their Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/luckyboysconfusion) and pureVOLUME (http://www.purevolume.com/luckyboysconfusion) pages. The track comes from the bands forthcoming disc, The Red Tape Outtakes (Demos and Heartbreaks), a collection of b-sides, rarities, and demos, which is due out August 23rd.

yea, why so much hate for this band all the time? they're not reinventing music or anything, but they write some damn catchy songs. and i really enjoyed a bunch of songs on 'Commitment'. particularly 'Hey Driver', that song is the catchiest thing ever, i still start singing it outta nowhere.

is this album all b-sides from 'Commitment', or their older stuff too?

i think throwing the game was a better album, pretty solid the whole way through it

oh definitley. i'd say Commitment had one or two better songs, but Throwing the Game was much stronger throughout.

it's a shame that Elektra dropped these guys, if that label was smarter and had actually promoted either of those albums, these guys could have been HUGE, almost every song they had was hit single material...

it goes to show that even if you sign with a huge major label, it dosen't necessarliy mean shit

It definitely is a shame that Elektra dropped LBC, but what I can't understand is why another label (either a major or an indie) hasn't picked these guys up yet. I mean, even if they don't become a massive MTV hit, they're bound to sell quite a few records, are they not?

This is probably the worst band I have ever heard in my entire life.

why would anyone hate LBC? Fred Astaire and One To The Right are two of the most genius songs I've ever heard. this one isn't too bad either.
Hey Driver wasnt my favorite but i definitely heard it on Top 40 radio at least once.

LBC is great. its a shame commitment wasnt as great as its other releases but still good. hope they return to their roots.

commitment would have spawned a few huge hits on top 40 if it was pushed! Go to a live show of theirs in chicago or urbana and tell me they dont have hardcore fans, it's insane!

hey driver was on kiss 103.5 for a while, even with the label doing nothing.

and yeah, they need to get signed again and return to their roots.

Edit: ehh.. Guess not total shit, you like many good bands. But Lucky Boys Confusion sucks, period.
