the guy's voice just irritates the hell out of me, and the lyrics really suck. i mean, i'll give any emo band a chance, i'm fairly open-minded, especially when it comes to music. but i just can't stand jamison parker.

eh...the lyrics are a bit under par, but i like these guys. they have a decent live show too, i thought. i don't know, they write good music, as unoriginal as it might be to some. i see where you're coming from though. his voice isn't very good at all. their music is just all about how it hits you.
I can see why someone would hate them.
I actually thought their album was boring as hell when I first got it and now its slowly becoming one of my favorites, even if there's two songs I always skip.

i agree. JP is teh suck. wasn't the one dude in the band bitching cause jocks were coming to his shows so he wrote this blog about how they don't belong at shows like that? yes well, i make fun of whining bitches who wear eyeliner and girl pants too. grow up.
and the music is category 5 generic.

There's barely anything acoustic about their "Sleepwalker" album. It's mostly electric guitars, whispering vocals, and some synthesized sounds.

I saw them quite a few times and they were great everytime. I was actually really impressed with the mood that they managed to set in the venues being a fairly unknown opening band.
