At their My Local Bands Q&A (http://mylocalbands.com/qa.asp?xid=4617) Jeff from The Early November (http://www.theearlynovember.net/) said this about the re-release The Room's Too Cold:
Q: i heard "the room's too cold" is being re released. did u guys want to do this or was it all dtr?
A: well ever since drive-thru and mca\'s contract ran out, our cds havent been in stores. its been like that for the past year. if you check your local record store youd be lucky if you could find 1 copy of the rooms too cold. for the past year weve wanted to re-release the record because no one could find it anywhere. drive-thru came to us about a month ago and said they wanted to re-release it with a sampler of their new bands and possibly a new song from the triple disc. we said sure, as long as we could throw a couple of our friends bands on it. so its basically going to be the same cd, different artwork, and the new version of decoration on an early november and friends/drivethru/rushmore sampler. its nothing big and exciting. we just want to have our full length in stores again.

This is totally irrelevant, but what does everyone have against Drive-Thru, and them being a horrible label? They seem to put out quite a few solid bands, and I haven't really heard very many scandalous news about them.

I don't have anything against Drive-Thru, they do put out solid bands and Rushmore turned out some good bands too: Houston Calls, Day at The Fair, and the Track Record are great. Actually I lied, the only problem I have with Drive Thru/Rushmore is that it takes forever to release stuff. Socratic and Adelphi got signed like a year and a half ago and Socratic is just now releasing something, as far as Adlephi; who knows.

Funny, I see that album around Gainesville, FL almost every time I walk into a record store. Maybe no one likes TEN here?

Yeah, when I saw this I knew I had to submit it. The re-release totally makes sense now. I hope they answer why their next release will take until March!

jeff makes a good point. i very rarely see "the room's too cold" in any stores... but maybe that's just because it's jersey and everyone loves TEN :D

And i'll get it for the first time. I think I tried ordering this album twice from DTR's store. It didn't happen. Third times the charm, right?

Alright, now I see why, I understand wanting your cd in stores again. That's pretty cool of them. Then again, I know everyone I know already has it.. but it's cool for the people who don't and should.. I just hope the triple doesn't let me down like this did.. it just dragged in too many spots...

theres not too much for these guys to cry about, didn't this record sell over 100, 000 copies?
It is coming out in March, a lot of things from DTR has been pushed back not to worry it will come. I don't think it'll be a setback the demos to me are amazing, TEN are amazing, Jeff Commers leaving the band and rejoining within weeks is AMAZING
all the guys seem real cool from the DTR dvd...hope the the triple disc does well

haha oh yeah, thier cd's are everywhere already!
but they and drive thru know this will make sales go back up again before the new album drops.
they better be fucking chics in beds of moneyyyyy
