Peta and Pete was such a great show. Bizzare characters and cameos by Iggy Pop and HST. I can (and do) watch this show for hours on end, it held up very well

haha salute your shorts was incredible, by far the best of all the old nick shows, followed closely behind by are you afraid of the dark. Anyone remember Hey Dude? that show was like salute your shorts pathetic cousin... i watched it nonetheless

So I finally got both seasons of this, it was one of my favorite shows growing up. Artie is without a doubt one of the best characters ever, who else do you know that can skip rocks on Neptune?

Actually he was 10 or so, which made it even better, haha. Not to mention the insults..."bite my neck hair, blowhole!"

...seriously.

I dont know if people know where i'm coming from, but me and my friend just watched a few episodes of Pete and Pete, and everytime I do I get so sad.... its just sad that, that great ERA of television will never come back. Like I don't know if people just "Got it" better in the 90s or whatever, but there were so many shows around that time that was on the money when it came to quality programming.

Also, it makes me look back at when I was 7-12....sigh. ha sorry just had to get this off my chest.

Alright there's a lot to say here

a) Pete and Pete was an AMAZING show and it's so awesome seeing older pete in movies like Slackers & 40 days and 40 night
b) Salute your shorts was equally amazing. I met donkeylips once, he's in my friend's movie community college which everyone should try to see once it gets some DVD distribution (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6LDuxhhsy8)
c) If you remember the movie snow-day that was originally suppose to be the Pete and Pete movie
