Here is a note from Andrew McMahon (Something Corporate (http://www.somethingcorporate.com) / Jack's Mannequin (http://www.jacksmannequin.com)):

"Since I set out on this crazy journey of creating Everything In Transit my life has been on somewhat of a crash course with destiny. With each new day it becomes more apparent to me that everything and everyone in this world is connected in some beautiful and inexplicable way, and the more I accept that, the more my world seems to come together. And so on this strange Tuesday in August, the most perfectly bizarre coincidence of my life will take place. The culmination of years of work and inspiration now falls on the same day that I will be transfused with stem cells from my sister to fight the monster huddled within my marrow. I can say for the first time that I am not afraid, and while this is a feeling that can undoubtedly change with time, I feel cradled by this universe and the immense love that comes from it. All of you who have supported me with your letters, prayers and powerful thoughts have filled my days with so much hope and inspiration. I feel blessed for the music that has filled my life and connected me to so many people on so many levels. I sit here on the eve of this album's release and the eve of my rebirth into this world and realize that no two events could be more perfectly timed. Thank you all for your dedication to my big dream of making music, I can truly say to you all on this day that my big dream has become a reality.

that man has been through so much, still has more to go through, yet he is still stronger than anyone ive ever been around. Cancer has been around my life since i was a child and ive never heard a positive attitude like this, he is truly a strong man....

...on a side note i LOVE the cd. If you downloaded the leak and are not gonna purchase it, then you have no respect for this man and what he has gone through...

not a big SoCo fan at all (kinda think they suck) but I have to give Andrew credit, he's a hell of a fighter and seems like a genuine great person, I wish him the best and for a speedy recovery!

Andrew has figured something out over the past 2 years. The Jack's album is almost perfectly crafted from start to finish. His lyrics have improved and his already mastered vocal style has managed to improve. SoCo's cover of Bob Dylan's "Just Like a Woman" can almost pass as their own song. It's just amazing and Andrew's story is amazing. I wish him the best.

On another note, every time I switched Jack's albums of whatever, I've lost a song. At first "Last Straw" was dropped, then when I picked up the album "Lonely for Her" was dropped. I think it is for the best as those were the 2 weakest songs (which I think Last Straw is a fairly good song and Lonely For Her is not so bad either.)

Also, On the secret site it said "My Maire My Love.mp3" at the top but it was playing the acoustic (or piano only) Kill the Messenger off of the 7inch. Is that right, or is there another song or something out there?

I give him so much for credit. Emotion just pours from this album from start to finish. The production, combined with Andrews way with words makes this album incredible. I can't wait to see him healthy again.

Lonely for her was not taken away frmo the digital release. iTunes ahs it as a part of everything in transit as the last song. You can download it an everything. I did.

Andrew is such an inspiration to us all. Jack's Mannequin is such an amazing album and everyone that hasn't picked it up yet needs to. For only $7.99 at Bestbuy, it is definitely worth the buy.

I was just about to say almost the exact same thing. To me, Everything in Transit is amazing. Reading that post gave me a lump in my throat because his ability to communicate emotion is astounding. I really hope everything is going well with the procedure and he continues to get better.

Is that right, or is there another song or something out there?last i checked (which would be just now), it's still the acoustic KTM off the 7inch. i read somewhere also that it might be "My Marie My Love" but it's hard to tell with that font. hope that helps
