DreamWorks has greenlit an "Old School" sequel and hired Todd Phillips and Scot Armstrong to pen the script for Phillips to direct reports Variety.
In the first "Old School" -- also penned by Phillips and Armstrong, and helmed by Phillips -- Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson starred as middle-aged frat boys intent on reliving the debauchery of their college glory days. Released in 2003, the flick pic grossed $74 million domestically.

I really just don't see how they could make another one up to par w/ the first. Its going to be like Dumb and Dumberer

if they get the same actors back, it can't be bad . . . right?

i dunno, Ferrell can make a movie gold but i just don't see to much in the way of a good plot for this.

Old School was one of the few new comedies that i've liked, so this may not be "one of the worst" ideas ever. Phillips is a good writter and director, ifor this genre, and Wilson, Vince, and Ferrell all seemed to do well with each other.
My idea for this would be to drop the Old School story line and just start from scratch using all the same people/writters, kind of like Black Sheep, only fun this time.

thank you, it was quite the achievement, but when i said worst decision made, i loved old school one of my fav movies of all time, i ment it in the way that they could possibly ruin the whole rep of the first one by making a sub-par sequel

I would love to see a sequel as long as it had the same cast.

If it has the same cast and the same writers than it can't be anything like Dumb and Dumberer. I'm never going to see that movie, ever.
