a friend of mine bought this cd and played it in my car. not my type of thing really. a lot of people around here (buffalo) love them but they don't strike me as anything spectacular. Are these guys even that popular in other parts of the country?

there's a good following down here in the houston area i think.

and though not as incredible as some people were making it out to be before it was released, i think its decent.

but i didnt expect them to top the first record.

nope^^^, they had a brand new producer for this album. actually i think it was produced by 2 dudes..

i love this album. you're probably all sick of me ranting about it, but this is my favorite band and this album is amazing in my eyes.

i donno if you guys are like knowledgable in technical guitar stuff but the guitarist of bayside uses 15 gauge strings so everything is going to sound really chunky and... well shitty. but yea i think these guys sound pretty bad live as well. ha.

There really is a ridiculous following ofr them, which I don't understand. They're mediocre, I think. They're nice and work really hard, though, so I respect them.

I go to college on the east side, but i live in Clarance. Everyone loves them here, it's pretty rediculous for a band thats less than amazing. I suppose they're hardworking guys otherwise they wouldnt have made it as far as they have. Where is bayside even from anyways?

Cool. I live in Tonawanda, a block outside the city limits, right near Kenmore, where I went to school. I go to college in Syracuse, though.
