It's probably not been officially announced. Daryl gets ill over the stress of touring, if there's no pressure to appear he can go if he's upto it, but not if he doesn't which is probably ideal for him with his unpredictable health.

If they do appear, hope someone bootlegs the concert. Would like to hear the new GJ stuff.

i believe i understand your previous post perfectly. you were angry that glassjaw is going to end up playing an additional show that you don't have tickets for... and acted like glassjaw owed you something just because you bought tickets (and to a certain extent they do but there's always that "schedule/bill subject to change" scapegoat that is something many people have to deal with... in this case, you). i understand that you're upset, but your "fuck them" attitude is what bothered me.

it seems to me that a real fan would just be happy that daryl is feeling well enough to play a show regardless of whether it favored you or not. you'd be happy to know that a great band is finally taking steps forward to being "back in action" again. it would be unreasonable for glassjaw to "uncancel" a show... if anything i think that would piss off more people than this. so instead of getting added back onto a bill, the band schedules a new show... that seems like the most logical thing to do to me.

as for your post being justified... i agree that you have the right to be angry, that is completely understandable. but, again, it's the "fuck them" statement that is rediculous. you act like because they did something to help their singer be HEALTHY that they should owe you something. you treat them like some shit you can just buy at the store. they're a band... they're people. so in addition to my previous statement "get over it" i also suggest you learn to have a little compassion for people and their well-being.

i still wonder daily about that rumor madison bleek posted about gj cancelling due to no practice. i mapped out logical ways for the rumor to work out and for the sickness to work out. SOMEONE TELL US THE TRUTH.
