the show was fucking amazing. I've personally never had the chance to see them live, so seeing them at CBGBs was just great. One of my favorite bands ever, so it's easy to know how I felt there. Got to meet em after the show and everything. The venue was plastered with "This show is being filmed signs" so I'm guessing they're coming out with a DVD of it. The camera guys really wouldn't tell us what they were recording for, but they had like 5 cameras all over recording so it must be a DVD, cause with that many cameras I can't think of anything else they're recording for. The opening bands were actually really good too. I loved the Blackout Pact. Other than that just an overall great show. Crowd surfers there were a little crappy cause of the fact that when they made it to the stage the security guy just pushed them back into the crowd. But whatever, still great.

I saw Thursday back in December and they were fucking awesome. Geoff's voice sounded as good as he does recorded and the rest of the band was dead on.

The 1st new song sounds like it would be Panic on the Streets of Healthcare City, a song that was discarded from WATT. It has that 'nanu' riff as described, and it talks about a breaking down of a city.

Could be wrong tho, I didn't hear the line 'The city built on healthcare is making us sick'

personally i've seen thursday a bunch of times and even if geoff is off key at times they have so much energy and if the crowd is really into it none of that really matters. and the show last night was awesome.

being out of key really has very little of how good a bands live show is
if you want to see someone who is always in key go see a josh groban show haha

and you just have to see Thursday..listening to a cd (even if it is live) can not be compared to how fucking amazing they are in person
