About Green Day, i wonder if they are actually playing at Gillette the night of the game, or if they are just gonna tape part of thier show from the saturday before which is at Gillette. In past years bands have played the NFL kickoff and werent at the venue to perform.

1. I don't have "punk ethos", but when a band actively comes out against a group of people, then caters to said people, I don't see that as not being narrow minded, I see it as being hypocritical...How is it not?

2. I'm not saying to love football, you have to be a bush loving redneck, but I have heard with my own two ears, Billie Joe slam "jocks", and "football players", and say that neither of the two have any place in punk rock...So what is "punk rock" about playing to an arena full of people who want you to get off the stage so they can see the game?
