Hey everyone,

was just looking for some recommendations on bands that are similar to versaemerge, circa survive, treos and closure in moscow.

you know music that is progressive but still catchy i guess.

I've been listening to a lot of TREOS lately, some Circa Survive too, and I've found that Portugal the Man goes along well with them. It's a little different stylistically, but it appeals to the same sensibilities, so it might be worth checking out if you haven't already.

I Am Alaska. they sound like circa survive/at the drive-in and some other stuff. i'm sure i know some others, but none i can think of right now.

You'd like: Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, The Sound Of Animals Fighting, In:Aviate (very similar to Circa) and maybe Holding Onto Hope. They are like atmospheric post-hardcore, but similar to bands like Oceana and Hands, they're really good.
