Here's my take on the situation, but it's really just a wild guess:

I'm thinking Jason felt it was time to add a couple new moderators, so he went through the users list and chose two people with alot of posts, and two that have been here a LONG time: those people being Eda and myself. Anyways, i'm guessing Jason either just wasn't looking correctly at who he was adding as a mod when he picked me, or he forgot that MaybeOneDay was actually my old screename that I didn't use anymore. I'd imagine he likely didn't intend to make me a mod at all, on either my new name or old one. With him being really busy and all, it's probably hard for him to keep up with who's who and all on the forums, so he probably just saw that my old account had alot of posts, and has been registered for ages, so he felt it would be a worthy choice. So yeah, like I said, I think he either didn't look carefully enough at who he was adding, or he forgot that user name belonged to me and intended to make somebody else a moderator.

Or I could be terribly, terribly wrong. Who knows?
