I've been hearing that quite a few labels, one major, have began to show quite a bit of interest in Westcott (http://www.purevolume.com/westcott). Keep your eyes and ears open. They will be heading into the studio to record their full length this December and January of next year. I've heard some of the tracks, and it's nothing short of amazing.

I don't know much about this band, but Manhattan is a hot track, it's been up there for like forever hasn't it? Is this band doing anything, like audio wise?

if it is true that a major is scouting them....i hope they don't jump. These boys will just get lost in the shuffle at a major. I think an indie would be loads better, they've got honing to do anyways.

I believe they have been working on getting an EP out if im not mistaken, so pretty much loads of studio time. and yes, manhattan is a hot track. I think they were/are/will be doing a video for it.

my band was supposed to play with them in august but then ended up canceling there entire tour to finish writing new songs.........there really good

hey caleb, thanx for introducing me ot them a month ago, still hooked, congrats, but i agree, dont go to major, stick with indie for now, grow a fanbase then go for it

I dont really like their music alot. Nice guys just not my thing. I like Lowercase and Harvey alot more, out of the bands coming from St. Louis.

Harvey kicks the shit out of Westcott. Of course, only depending on your taste in music, but for me harvey blows westcott out of the water, so does Last Flight Home. They are also an amazing band. Truly incredible what some of these local bands are capable of.
