im betting there will be a crapload of people. i went and saw copeland at hob anaheim and troubador. the hob was paaacked. the kids out here love their spill canvas. and i know copeland will draw over 200 on their own.
either way, can you really complain if it isnt that big a crowd at hob sunset? you're talking about a venue with great sound and a chance to see a great group of bands in a more intimate setting if thats the case.
where was i going with this? oh yeah, ill be there at hob sunset too, guys.

ya theres nothing wrong with HOB sunset...its probably one of my top venues out here, just seemed very random...i doubt it will be even close to a sell out, in LA...orange county is a different beast however

yeah man, i was suprised at both shows at how little the fans reacted to acceptance. made me realize how unknown they actually were.
and did you notice how aaron sticks his tongue out when he hits high notes/yells? fuckin cracked me up all night.

hahah ya he did hahah ive yet to see acceptance get a great reaction out here...i think on take cover theyll get a good one....i have a feeling more people will be there for treos though

i dunno, i think alot of it had to do with the fact that the majority of the people didnt have the phantoms leak. the last time they were here the cd wasnt released, because the crowds went nuts for permanent.
and you're right about the anaheim/la thing. the kids out in oc are rabid for their music. that and militia group is out there, so that helps.
but yeah this time around its gonna all be about acceptance. or cartel... personally im there for augustana since ive seen everyone else.

ya thats so true about the phantoms leak...i totally forgot, its weird to go to shows for new albums (ex: between the buried and me show a couple of weeks ago) because i always have these leaks and just figure everyone else there does.

Holy fuck. October for Minneapolis has around 10 shows, and oddly, most of them revolve around the same week. I shall try to hit both but money only comes so often.

Acceptance had an amazing reaction last time they played in Kansas. People were even moshing to it. I guess that's cause they've played here so many times, and they were opening for Saosin and Anberlin, so I guess people were just warming up. Then again, a lot of people were singing along.
But back on topic, Copeland is definitely coming back to Kansas. I talked to Aaron Marsh last time they played here and they said their next tour for sure would be here. Then again, lots of bands say that :/. Whatever the case, this tour is well worth hitting up, if it comes through DO NOT pass up the opportunity to see them.

to those complaining about the tour hitting the house of blues in LA:
the last time copeland played in LA, they sold out the troubador (around 500 capacity) 2 weeks before the show happened. fact.
also, daphne loves derby sold out El Ray (around 800 capacity) last month. so if you wanna see the show, you should probably buy your tickets now. HoB holds roughly 1,000, so it could sell out.
