The following is a press-release from Drive-Thru Records (http://www.drivethrurecords.com):

Allister (http://www.allisterrock.com) is back in the game with their third full-length Before The Blackout out October 11th on Drive-Thru Records.

Allister is respected by fellow musicians and fans alike for their demonstrable commitment to the DIY ethics of the punk scene. Their sophomore album, Last Stop Suburbia went on to sell 80k copies and fans have been waiting patiently, three years to be exact, for the bandıs follow-up. Before The Blackout incorporates sing-along melodies, break neck chord changes, and witty and sentimental lyrics, all elements that have cemented the 10-year old band as a stand out act. ³A Study In Economics² is
quintessential ALLISTER, while tracks like the heavier ³Blackout² and the edgier ³Waiting² emonstrates the bandıs growth, musically and personally. ALLISTER has been touring the nation much of the summer performing new material as well as tried and true fan favorites. The band recently wrapped a video for the song ³A Lotta Nerve² directed by Darren Doane.

ALLISTER is Tim Rogner (guitar, vocals), Kyle Lewis (guitar), Scott Murphy
(bass, vocals) and Mike Leveranz (drums).

I freaking love this band! I've seen them 4 times over the past 4 years and the new songs like "You Lied" and "D2" are just as kick ass as any on Last Stop or Dead Ends.

goddamn i can't wait for this. i know a lot of people hate Allister, but i think they're one of the best pop-punk bands today, and definitley one of two good bands left from the early drive-thru days (along with RxB). they may not bring anything new to the table, but they write catchy as fuck songs. i loved 'Last Stop...' and i love the demo of 'D2' i heard. this should be awesome.

yay for allister being so good:bigsmile:

what part of queens are you from?

yeah, chris left allister because of august premier, and they're not even around anymore. "fireworks & alcohol" is a great album.

i can't wait for new allister. "last stop suburbia" is one of my favorite pop punk albums.

What I love about this band is you know just what to expect from them, they won't bend you over backwards with a new sound.
