i think welcome home is the better of the two songs i've heard so far.

but suffering makes perfect sense as the lead single.

they're both damn good songs.

i fuckin LOVE the opening riff... so... classic metal-ish yet still modern...

does anyone else think that the chorus on "The Suffering" sounds a bit like "Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops!"???? i dunno the name of that song i just know the songs-- and the pitches sound a bit like that song.. but its sweet song anyway

The song's called "Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow)," and yes, it does sound similar. But the first thing I thought was that the "hey hey's" sounded like "Blood Red Summer." Maybe there's a close connection within the story between the three songs.

The album overall is pretty good. It's not quite as good as i thought it was gonna be, but I still really like it. My favorite song so far is Ten Speed. That song should be a single, it kicks the other singles asses. Does any one find the end of the final cut really goofy, I don't know what they were thinking there, sounds like a redneck jamboree. Those animated shorts are also kicking ass. The newest on was a little weak but the Ten Speed one was so awesome.

I tried to tell myself that I could wait until Sept. 20 and I would be fine with the 4 song sampler I downloaded...but I'm weak and I gave in. But, I will still buy it on Sept 20...as well as the graphic novel and possibly the rerelease of Second Stage Turbine Blade. I've never really been patient about shit like this. Dammit I'm so weak!!!
