The 'Dukes' Head for London

The producers of hit summer blockbuster The Dukes Of Hazzard (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377818/) are planning to set the sequel in London. Jessica Simpson (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005433/), who played sexy Daisy Duke in the movie adaptation of the hit TV show, reveals she can't wait to get back in character, especially if the film crosses the Atlantic. She tells website SkyNews.com, "They would be lost in London. I think Daisy and those crazy boys will have a great time in the UK."

This is a pretty good example of all that is wrong in Hollywood. The first one was bad enough, now this.

ew...didnt even go near the first one, wont go near this one eitherNever saw the first one either. I'm a firm believer that if you're going to make a movie based on a tv show, it should at least follow the show as closely as possible. Not glamourize it to death for the sake of attracting millions of MTV teeny bopper sheep.

They should make something new of MTV's Oddities. That was a sick show.

It makes me sad that there is hardly any creativity left in Hollywood. A sequel to a movie based on an old TV show? Come on.

There are still plenty of good movies being made, sometimes you just have to look harder for them. Blame the hoardes of idiots that actually go to see shit like this.

I hope Broken Lizard either makes this one funny or back away from it entirely

did broken lizard make the first one? because i actually saw it (at a drive-in with another movie) and there was one part that copied the opening sequence of super troopers almost exactly. it even had ramathorne and rabbit. farva was in it too (sorry, don't know his actual name).

club dread was OK if you took it for what it was...a lame shot at a slasher type movie, but was nowhere near the caliber of Super Troopers.

Jay (ramathorne) directed this alone with Club Dredd and Super Troopers, all of broken lizards wrote Dukes of Hazzard and a few of them had cameos

you've got to be kidding me. didn't that movie get like zero stars in every review? And I have yet to meet ONE person who has even seen the first one. I know Broken Lizard did this movie, but c'mon. This is ridiculous.

Not as good as his cameo as "Chaz" in Wedding Crashers. C'mon, his mom tried to poison his oatmeal.

It makes sense if they make a sequel, since most people these days are for the money.

WB signed all members of Broken Lizard as writers, actors and directors. Hopefully they can get away form this commerical crap and pull of something as good as super troopers.
