"Slaughter House Five" by Kurt Vonnegut... recommended by my Global Politics professor and I love it... I read the first 80 pages on my train ride to meet my sister yesterday and have been excited to read more ever since, I just haven't had the free time.
Also, I started "Broken Angels," by Richard K. Morgan not too long ago, the follow-up to "Altered Carbon." I'm about halfway through and mildly disappointed, seeing as it is not as great as the first (usually the case with films/novels)

I think that Dragon was a great book. Interesting characters, several nice subplots and twists and nothing that out of the realm of possibility.
With Fire you get a returning cast of characters but Lisbeth is extremely annoying IMO and the story itself has several completely improbable turns and an ending that had me rolling my eyes. Still interesting (I read it in 3 days) but not great.

It's not nearly as good as the book. I got more excited whilst reading the book. The movie left me bored.

I've been reading trades of Robert Kirkman's Invincible and I'm about to jump into the Walking Dead. Bookwise, I picked up Chevy Chase's autobiography but I haven't touched it in a while.

Yes, came out a few months ago.

Reading Fight Club. It's interesting to see all that's different from the movie. I bet it wasn't easy to adapt at all. It makes me respect the screenwriter that much more. Great book so far. I could read Palahniuk all day. I love the way he writes.
One Day by David Nicholls- what a beautiful, beautiful book.
