Of 411mania's list of the Ten Biggest Oscar upsets of the past twenty years, which do you think is the biggest of them all?

Julia Roberts over Ellen Burnstyn (sp). I still don't understand how that happened. But on your list I would go with Crash becasue that movie wasn't good.

No Forrest Gump, Best Picture? Also, how is DDL winning an upset? And why isn't Chicago, Best Picture on this list as well? Bad list. Not trying to be negative. I bet you could make a better list TJ than 411mania.

fuck this is tough. but the first thing i thought was crash, so i went with that.

saving private ryan losing out is a close, close second though.

I went with Crash.

I know a lot of people here didn't like it, but liked it very much.

for me it's not even that i hate crash. i thought it was pretty good. but brokeback mountain blew it out of the water, in my opinion. i was stunned when it did not win best picture.

Yeah it was, but remember, he was up against Cruise (Born on the 4th of July), Morgan Freeman, Robin Williams, and Branagh in a Shakespeare performance. And he wasn't exactly a househould name yet.
