Went to this show last night, and overall it was a lot of fun. I have never been a huge fan of A Day To Remember and I'm not crazy about the new cd. They have a couple of songs that I really like but everything else just sounds the same to me. But I went jsut so I could see if I liked them live, plus Mychildren Mybride is always fun to see.

I have seen my children my bride more times then I can count but this show was by far their best performance, they sounded good had a lot of energy and the crowd was going crazy during the entire set, huge pileups/stagedives/etc. I had a lot of fun during them, and they played a solid set too here it is (slightly different then recent set lists of them):

On Wings of Integrity
Faithless
The Machinist
Circle The Sky
Boris The Blade
Versus
Headshot

A Day To Remember started out pretty strong, but then I started getting a little bored during the middle of their set. I was also expecting a lot of new songs but they only played a couple of the new cd. Overall they were better then I was expecting but still dissapointing. I still think they are extremely over rated. However it was definintely a fun time, and I suggest seeing them if you have nothing else better to do and want to have a good time. Here is the set from what I remember, I coud be missing one or two but I'm pretty sure they played these songs (not in order):

Fast Forward To 2012
Speak The Devil
Danger In Starting A Fire
Since You Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson cover)
Why Walk On Water When We've Got Boats
Downfall Of Us All
Welcome To The Family
Your Way With Words
Heartless

Encore:
The Plot to Bob The PanHandle

I was really dissapointed they didn't play 1959

Meh, they probably could have thrown in more new songs. I bet Downfall Of Us All was fun live though.

Yeah, I was definitely hoping for more new songs. I mean, I don't really love the new cd but I do think it is better (as a whole) then there older cds. Downfall of Us All was fun, but I really wished they opened their set with it, it would have been much better, plus you couldnt really hear the beginning of it when they started playing, you just hear the "lets go" and it goes into a break down.

And yeah, I wasn't into since you been gone at all, they definitely should have played something else. They need to learn how to pick their sets better.

Here's my ideal headlining set from ADTR (on the spring, since they're co-headlining with Prada)

- Intro/Fast Forward to 2012
- Welcome to The Family
- My Life For Hire
- Monument
- Colder Than My Heart, If You Can Imagine
- A Shot In The Dark
- Here's To The Past
- Mr. Highway's Thinking About The End
- Holdin' It Down For The Underground
- Panhandle

Encore: Heartless (Re-Release version)

My best guess for the spring tour is that ADTR and Prada are each gonna get 50 minutes.

If this is directed at me then you are obviously the idiot. I did say they played a fun set, I had a good time, etc. but they are definitely overrated and they are not original at all. I am not a fan of the pop/punk/hardcore thing but I would much rather listen to four year strong or another one of that genre then this band.

Sorry I messed up the set list but like I said, all their songs sound the same to me.

I would definitely add 1959 to that set.

I kinda doubt ADTR will play for that long. At the show the other night they were suppose to play from 9:30 - 10:30 But they were done by around 10:05 and done with the encore by around 10:10. So yeah that was kinda dissapointing, they definitely should have played a longer set with more new stuff. But maybe when they start incorporating more new songs the set will get longer.

i think Downfall of Us All would be a opener, than fast forward.

Yeah I was kinda bummed they didnt open with Downfall, I thought they would get the crowd doing the whole "dananannana *clap* danananana" thing when the came on stage and just take it from there. ha just thought that would have been a great way to do it.
ANYWAY the show was definately a blast - my children mybride [as batman138 said] did a great job as always and honestly probably was the best that I have seen them play. A Day To Remember of course was also fantastic. Its always fun seeing them, though I do wish they would have played more new stuff. I also thought it was kind of a jip to play The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle as an encore. That's just one of those songs that I feel like should be definately included in their setlist. They're encore should have been another new one. I was definately disappointed they didnt play Im Made of Wax - just cause its my fav. off homesick. But hey! theyre touring next month again and then on warped so no worries!
As far is the crowd was concerned. Awesome, very insane. Wish that the floor would have actually stayed open though.. but overalll definately a fantastic show :)

well i think if they had the "duh duh..." part in the beginning, played, and the band walked out,
and then have jeremy do let's go,
it would sound pretty rad.

maybe someone has already pointed this out, but it's called 1958, not 1959, for whoever said that. just thought that was funny since its one of your favorite songs

i wish they would drop since u been gone and play 1958, you should have killed me when you had the chance, a second glance, and i heard it's the softest thing ever (fucking entense song). they need to change up their set some more. i would absolutely love if they did a tour playing only stuff from their first cd

Josh did mention that they would be phasing in more Homesick material in the AP.net chat, I would know, I asked.

They're probably still practicing the new songs, so thats why they didn't perform so many.
