Techinically it's metalcore but yes, there is screaming. It's not too bad. It still has the original melody of the song and there is a fair amount of clean singing.

compared to the original, it really isn't that great. ian's vocals are what makes the song, and without the similar sound it's just another catchy heartbreak song. or at least that's how i view it.

I'm sure there are some exceptions, but in most cases when a song doesn't have screaming, I would prefer the band covering the song left out screaming. Live Silverstein's cover of Rodeo Clown by Lifetime. The screaming just ruined it. It's an ok cover, I just dislike added, unnecessary screaming in songs that don't have screaming.
