Any word on whether Ben's playing these?

IF Ben does not play with them, You can count of them playing small clubs from now on.

It's a good thing I don't get too attached to band members beyond the music they produce. If Yellowcard's next CD sounds good to me, I'll still support them no matter who helped record it.
I was one of those being optimistic at John and Sean's departure from TBS.

According to pollstar.com yellocard is also playing a show:
9/29/2005 - Spokane WA @ Gonzaga University.
Supporting acts: Moneen & Rufio.
Anyone know if there is truth to that?

If it's on pollstar with an exact date and location, then it's probably true.

Fuck Yellowcard.

09/02/05, 04:16 PM
The back half of these dates (the small club) shows are with Acceptance, and the front few (stadium/arena) are mostly radio shows - Lake Elsinore has Over It, The Matches, The Vandals, and Letter Kills amongst others.
How is there not a Jacksonville date? Way to go YC
I was one of those being optimistic at John and Sean's departure from TBS.
so you were proven wrong..?

i don't know if 10/30 is going to be a day off, but it's fucking sad if they won't be going to jacksonville, their hometown
atticusfinch
09/02/05, 05:22 PM
yeah, wtf, Littlejohn? WHY?
That's a huge arena.
Must be a radio show.
And no Jax date? Shameful.

blah..most overrated bands you have ever heard?, strange i guess you haven't heard hawthorne heights.
o wait u have that listed as one of your favorite albums.
Ok low blow i know, but honestly what makes Straylight Run so much more overrated than any of those bands you have listed in your profile?

It's weird that they are playing such small places. Neumos in Seattle only holds about 800. Plus there is no barrier and the stage only comes up to your waist. Weird.

because they left tbs then there was allll this bullshit hype that they had started this amazing band that was gonna blow tbs away...then straylight came out and it wasnt this amazing band that blew tbs away hence making it the most overrated band i have ever heard.

They left tbs because john and shawn did not agree with the direction other band mates wanted to go. john wanted to make music that he enjoyed to make simple as that.

People bitch when bands play big arena shows and neglect small venues, and then they bitch when they play the small venues.
Make up your fucking minds.

Alright, good thing they're playing Grand Rapids. There probably aren't too many people anywhere else in Michigan, right? I mean, fuck, Detroit's population is next to nothing compared to GRAAAAND Rapids. Woo hoo that's far away.

chain reaction, you shitting me, that place can barely hold 250 people...thats going to sellout faster than the 4 hour Ataris show.
i live like 20 ft from the storm stadium. in lake elsinore. ahaha ill be thier!
that's going to be a total bro show, its some dirt biking thing.........sigh. I don't want to bothered by SRH or SKIN...

im serious kids....yellowcard is a prime example as to why coke is a terrible thing.
dont think im shiting with you either.
i dont think throwing a hissy fit about ben is going to help anything...hes to busy with takeover...so they got a guy starting back..i do believe to fill in...and hes doing good.
let the band do what they want

i can't believe that there is no philly date, especially for a band that played here 2 nights in a row a year ago
i was actually at that show where they filmed their dvd
but seriously, how can they skip philly and go to asbury?? if they want a small venue, hit the troc or the tla, it doesn't have to be a the electric factory
c'mon yellowcard

Seriously dude I can't believe that as big as they have become...they're gonna play at the chain...shit I wish other bands would come back to the small venues..fuck those arena shows.
I enjoy Yellowcard, but I'm not a huge fan.. someone want to tell me who Ben is (guitarist?) and why he's so important? And why he's leaving?

My birthday in Towson, MD? I can do that...especially if Acceptance plays. It's also Jason's (from Accceptance) birthday. That would be fun.

Chain Reaction? They seem much bigger than that club. More of a House of Blues band in my opinion. Well at least they'll sell out Chain in like 5 seconds.

Im a fan of Yellowcard, but Im definetly not a hardcore one. Though, I think it is definetly respectable that they are playing at smaller venues, because well, its more personal that way, and this might be a ood thing for them anyways if Ben did in fact leave, it lets the other guy get used to things etc.
Whatever happened to the band, you have to have faith in them that they'll grow into something just as good as they were, or better. If not, well, you can always listen to thier older cds.
