why doesn't sportscenter show highlights anymore

Sportscenter has been going downhill for a while now. Today I had to sit through the Torre and A-Rod fued, Bonds and his steroids, some high schooler saying what college he's gonna go to, and how many points do you think LeBron James will score tonight at MSG. All it is now is fucking gossip that I don't care about, show me who won the fucking game. Why the hell do I care what college some 18 year old is going to, maybe tell me at the end but don't go to a 15 minute press conference to watch what hat he picks. And whats so good about LeBron playing at MSG just because Kobe scored 61 the other night. Is there something in the air that makes you shoot a higher percentage? Tom Brady was right when he said it was the new MTV instead of not showing music videos they don't show highlights. And how bout this summer when it was the Brett Favre network, chripes. And c'mon gimme some hockey. I probably should have written this in my blog but I wanted other peoples opinions.

i watched last night at 11 or 12 when buccigrass (sp) was doing it and it was so much better. They had that sick goal from the Toronto game one of the best of the year at number 2 and then i watched this morningand it was like number 9 because they had to throw in a Lebron dunk which has to be seen every night and a Lebron block.

believe it or not A LOT of people care about national signing day, and unless it is baseball season there is no sporting events during the day time. the morning edition of sportscenter shows lots of highlights.
i know people care about national signing day but they cut to it for 15 minutes today. The kid was at some function where there was every kid from the state of hawaii going to school for football and it took 15 minutes until it was this kids turn. Sportscenter Live is the worst thing to happen to ESPN, Sage Steel, Chris MCKendry, Robert Flores and the other dude are the worst anchors ESPN has to offer, and its on from 9-3 which is the one I usually catch I guess I should start watching the ones at 11 and in the AM because Sportscenter Live is brutal

sportscenter does all those stories so they keep you watching for the highlights, it's pretty smart. if they showed all highlights the first half hour and then did stories the second half nobody would watch the second half.
