Green Day's (http://www.greenday.com/) upcoming live DVD due out November 15th has officially been titled Bullet in a Bible.
According to NME.com (http://www.nme.com/), Green Day captured its two-night stand at the Milton Keynes Bowl for a concert DVD called. But the DVD will include more than just a concert film. It will also feature fans talking about Green Day.
The production company making the movie invited fans aged 15 and over who are going to the Milton Keynes shows to send the company a video clip or photo of themselves, saying why they love Green Day's music. Some of the submissions will be included on the DVD.

Furthermore, the band is facing critic backlash (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/03/arts/extra/01green-extra.html?8dpc) for their concert at Giant's stadium. And lastly, here (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1508693/20050831/index.jhtml?headlines=true)'s an article on the band's next music video (which promises to be epic beyond their current masterpiece).

Fans talking about them will be annoying as hell. I wonder how many pre-pubescent teens will be on there!

I bet I can tell you exactly what they played...

True, but I spose them asking only 'fans aged 15 and over' has a reason to it.

jesus of suburbia will be interesting.
not that mtv ever shows full length videos anymore, let alone nine minute long ones.
but i remember thinking the same thing when november rain premiered. and i was wrong there.
yes, i'm old enough to remember the premiere of november rain.
i'm damn excited for the live dvd too. i've always been surprised they didn't have one out already.
it also comes out the same day as scrubs season two. so that's a day to look forward to.
The NY times article is bullshit. Another one of those "punk no more" things. Get a life, fuck you. A two fucking hour set, even covering their back catalogue well.
God, I can see what against me are going to recieve for this.
And yeah, I'm fearing the 15 year old girls with "OMG BILLY IS SO HAWT!!11!!". You know, because it's cool to express exclamation points in words.

If only the "back catalogue" that they play consisted of more than Longview, Basketcase, Minority, and Brain Stew.
At least they're still fucking playing Maria

I wish I could have seen the Warning tour, where they did songs like "Fashion Victim" and "Church on Sunday."

Well, those songs were on warning. This was the american idiot tour. I kinda was expecting "macy's day parade" for some reason.
As for old shit, King for a day was in there too. I'll remember them as I go along.
Do you know the whole setlist by any chance? I just remember (in order):
American idiot
jesus of suburbia
holiday
longview
Encore:
Maria
Bulevard of broken dreams
We are the champions
Good riddance
Someone fill the rest in?

That's the same thing with pretty much any tour out there. Minor differences, but mostly the same.

Yes...which is why he said that he wished that he had gone to that tour. He wasn't saying that he was surprised they didn't play them; he was saying that he wished he'd seen their previous tour.

Dude, fuck what the fans have to say. I just want to see a 2 hour live DVD from Green Day. I don't want to see a 15 year-old girl telling us how much she wants to have Billie Joe's babies. Fuck america's culture, dude. Seriously. Nobody wants to see that.
