Getting a New System/handheld...help

Yeah, so the ol' Gamecube finally broke down on me last night...i really dont play it that much, like once a month...but it just kept shutting down..so im going to go to a local EB Games and take my 20 GC games with me, trade em in for cash, and buy something else...

I want to spend somewhere between 100-150, depending on how much i get for the system and the games...

I was looking into either...PS2, XBOX, or Nintendo DS...again, depending on how much cash i get for the GC and the games...


any suggestions?

Get a DS.

PS3 and Xbox360 are coming out too soon to validate purchase of the other two.

i am selling my xbox today (hopefully) and getting a gamecube.

but go with the ds, or a psp.

hm, well thanks for the opinions guys...

im not really sure of what im going to do, the eb games store is closed today...labor day....and tomorro i will be out of town...then wednesday, school starts...so im probably going to hold out on actaully buying something, but still return my old system

maybe some christmas money will help

My opinion is that you're better off waiting a couple months for the Xbox 360. Then you can play new games as well as other Xbox games.
