Ariadne and Cat War are 2 local bands that really brought me into hardcore/grind stuff.

They both just broke up recently though due to college and the sorts.:(

Cat War aren't really hardcore or grind but their good. So you should listen. It's spastic.

Ed Gein. local band, but they're pretty widely known.
