Lately I've been getting into a lot of stuff from the Kinsellas. Owen, American Football, Make Believe, etc. I have loved Cap'N Jazz for a while but am late to all of these other bands. The new Animal Collective has been nice. I was drooling all over that Alchemy Index vinyl. Did you see that? WANT WANT WANT. I've also been getting into all of the other Sufjan Stevens stuff aside from Illinois. That man is so fucking talented. Everything hes released I love, save A Sun Came. Even Enjoy Your Rabbit is great imo.

I don't know, Michigan is really, really amazing. Illinois is too though. Most prefer Illinois but I've heard a lot say that Illinois is very over the top musically, and Seven Swans is not over the top enough, and that Michigan achieves the perfect balance. It really is a fantastic record. If you like Illinois at all (which I know you do) then it's definitely worth checking out.

And yeah, I bet you'd like American Football. Very chill music, and yeah they sound like early DCFC. I probably prefer American Football though. Yeah, you should try out their self titled album (their only full length. They also have a self titled EP but that's not as good, but if you like the LP download the EP too).
