I remember back during the 2000 Debates on SNL they used to have Bush say his name all the time.
I was at Thursday's CBGB show.. and like 10 kids there had Hawthorne Heights shirts. Such a terrible conflict... amazing band versus one that can't play guitar, can't write lyrics worth a shit, and certainly cannot sing. Drums on HH aren't too horendous, though.. surprisingly.

someone please explain to me why do they have three guitars for no purpose, sincerely a good guitarist can play all of their three guitars on his own. And HOW IN HELL did they sell more cds than TBS as a debut album??? I think they have a pact with the devil or something.

Don't tell me you think that the people in TBS could play the guitar any better.
Fred Mascherino is an excellent guitarist. He's fucking ace. While TBS doesn't play technical music, Fred is still an excellent guitarist. Eddie Reyes is also a good guitarist.. Movielife was good stuff..
Check him out on Breaking Pangaea's three albums where he did all the song writing/lyrics and vocals/guitar.

Cool, I'm anxious to hear how it sounds. Their lyrics aren't that bad besides "Ohio Is For Lovers".

if their lyrics weren't so awful, and they took out ALL of the screaming..i think they'd be quiet listenable.
i actually think their singer has a good voice. they show true potential at times, they're just too busy trying to look good and sell albums and make money to let that potential show.
