i'd get either Reinventing Axl Rose or As The Eternal Cowboy before getting Searching For A Former Clarity. they just seem to be more solid albums. that being said, i'll still probably pick up the new one. and Alaska.

I got the new Against Me! and it is definately a good record but it is not their best and certainly not my favorite. I still enjoy this one and there are some great songs on it.

The new one is amazing, but it's definitely a different sound for them. I'd suggest picking up one of the older albums if you liked the acoustic EP. You can't really go wrong with either of their previous full lengths. Amazing band.

you've only heard the acoustic ep? poor guy, go to noidearecords.com and you can get all their cds for pretty cheep prices, you'll just have to wait for them to arrive, but its worth it

i pre-ordered socratic's cd and i haven't gotten it yet. i'm pretty pissed off.
i think there were shipping problems, seeing as most stores didn't even get them (best buy didn't, i know that).

tower did though, and i'm satisfied after my huge search for it.

however, i am NOT happy about the $15.99 price. what the fuck?! that is way too much for a cd and if this wasn't an album i wanted this bad i would not have paid it.
