Hit the Lights is one of the best bands around. They fucking rule. As for the Hush Sound, they are also one of the best up and coming bands this year. The Audition songs on purevolume are catchy as hell and I heard they got booed but let's let the album sales speak for themselves. :thumbsup:

Clearly, nobody has been listening to this band for very long. This was one of the original demos they had up with their original line-up. It used to be called "lawyers" and was much better with the first vocalist.
Mediocre band, and the only thing that made them special before was their singer.

I am familiar with their first vocalist consdering my band used to play with them all the time. Their sound has changed a lot since then but it's still catchy.

so i find it hilarious that the only threads this person posts on are the auditions. Someone is a bitter bitch. Seriously dude, who are you? well im assuming that you're a bitter ex member. now, im not in the band but i do know them pretty well, and from what i know, youre all bitter fucks, well maybe with the exception of evo. And bob's got his own thing now and seems happy. So its either another ex member, or someone else who used to be associated with the audition, or maybe the kid who flipped off the band at the metro, i was standing right behind that dude, and got quite a laugh out of that because he was such an idiot. what a tough guy

and they definitly didnt get booed, you numbskull (hah) evos friends were chanting his name after the audition played and its funny because they're more bitter than he is.

i've also heard the album, and let me tell you....this band is amazing. if you dont buy this album, you're seriously missing out.

When they had Dance Dance Revolution up a while ago I thought that it sounded really good...and then I remember one of the last shows they played with the original line-up at the bottom lounge they had some changes in the song and peopel were looking at each other....now hearing the new version...this is 200X better than their entire ep...I was originally a hater, but with Bob rocking out in the hush sound and Evo seeming pretty cool, it seems kind of stupid to hold a grudge if they're not...anyway, I'm officially excited for this cd....bring the rock

Youre a dumb *** indeed. My friends and I were the ones that started that chant, and it wasn't out of respect, it was because the new audition fucking blows dick. Evo wasn't there watching his friends by the way, he was there to see the Hush Sound, and than to see how badly the new Audition blew. The new guitarist Tim, who used to be in Coventry, is one of the gayest things ive ever seen in my life. He blows at guitar. Coventry kicks the auditions ass, youre gay, Hit the lights and the Hush sound rock, the end.

that show was pretty good, but the 2 stepping to june was the stupidest thing i have ever seen in my life. give me a break. the douches doing it weren't even good. don't disrespect hardcore with you mediocre dances to pop rock. the audtion was really good, but their songs really run together and lack diversity live. tjv was good as always, and june was the same as the audition. you've made us conscious is THE song for victory if you ask me..i really hope they know what they have.

I wasn't there, but I might as well share my thoughts as well:

I absolutely love The Junior Varsity live (as well as on album). So much energy goes into their show. June was pretty decent/solid live, they're usually a pretty good time. I've seen TJV countless times, June three or four times, and although I've only seen the Audition once, they seemed like every other band that doesn't stand out. Not to say they aren't catchy, just everything about them is typical.

With that said, I wish the best of luck to them, and although I preferred Evo, I hold no grudge.
