He doesn't sound like a robot(you're talking about stuff like T-Pain, A Rocket To The Moon, etc.) but he still has obvious studio trickery done to his voice. It's kinda hard to explain.

Definitely not Fearless. Don't get me wrong, I like bands on Fealress (Every Avenue, Mayday Parade, Artist Vs Poet) but the majority of the bnads on that label are a joke. I really like EVR but ther are just barely bigger than Rise but, I wouldn't mind if they signed with them. Epitaph is obviously a no-brainer, Epitaph would just have show interest first.

EVR may be just slightly bigger than Rise, but take a look at their roster, worst band on EVR is way better than any band on Rise (except for TYGB). I don't get why everyone hates on Fearless, probably because most of their bands are "trendy" right now.

As far as Fearless goes, The Maine? Alesana? A Skylit Drive? Motionless In White? All of those bands are horrible. I wouldn't mind TYGB signing with Fearless if all of those bands either beak up or move to a different label.

I honestly hope you're joking. A Rocket to the Moon is one of the worst on the label. You're saying Panic at the Disco, Paramore, Forgive Durden, and This Providence are terrible. And Fearless is a giant pile of shit. I doubt FBR has responded to an album leak a week before it comes out as "rough mixes and not the legitimate versions." Woah! A Rocket To The Moon is great. I saw him live back in August and was extremely impressed. As far as the bands you mentioned, I didn't say they sucked. I only listed the bands on FBR that I like(ARTM, VE, TFNB, ect.). Witht that said, I do think Paramore, Cute is What We Aim For, Panic at the Disco suck. The whole "rough mixes" thing (to my knowledge) has only been used by Victory and no one else. Concerning Hopeless, it was still ATL's decision to stay. Now on to triple Crown. TCR is unbelievable, they are extrtemely diverse and have awesome bands. Look at HTL and how sucessful TCR has made them. I'd also like to hear what's wrong with Fight Fair. Actually don't even bother because there is nothing wrong with them. What? You say the lyrics in "Pop Rocks" and "Brain Freeze" are bad? Read the lyrics to "Game On" and "San Diego" and still come back and tell me their lyrics suck. Besides, it's pop-punk. I'm sure you listen to bands with even worse lyrics.

Sadly, everything you just said couldn't be any more false.

The Maine has actually used the rough mixes excuse twice. http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=680912 and http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=380031. And it's more the music of Fight Fair I don't like. And yes, Hit the Lights are successful. But that makes one band. Fueled by Ramen has made many bands successful. Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, Less Than Jake, Paramore, and Panic at the Disco all came from there.

Everything you just said went all wrong for you.

Don't say a band sucks just because you don't like their music. That's very ignoarant. You should only use that excuse if there are other problems with the band(ie: they're not talented musicians, horrible lyrics, etc.). Fight Fair is an incredible band that I enjoy listening too. As far as TCR is concerned, Fireworks is going to blow up this year. Have you also heard of The Dear Hunter, The Recieving End of Sirens, and Brand New? All of those bands are/have been on Triple Crown so I'd say they've done a great job thus far promoting their bands.

Little FYI for you: Yellowcard was never on FBR and the drumer of LTJ had previously owned and founded the label. LTJ was never on FBR. Also, Panic is on Decaydence, an imprint of FBR. They're not exactly on FBR.

Check the FBR roster. Less Than Jake was on the roster until the drummer sold his shares. And Yellowcard released The Underdog EP on FBR. And Panic is on both FBR and Decaydance.
And ok I will rephrase it. I don't like Fight Fair.

Yes. But that was after FBR released their first signs if maturity. And in my opinion the best thing they released.

I think FBR is gonna have a good year:
Cute Is What We Aim For breaks up.
After Danger Radio and A Rocket to the Moon finish touring, Brighten will sign to FBR.
NeverShoutNever! releases his album, without autotune, and signs to FBR.
This Providence releases Who Are You Know? which is a critical success.
Powerspace releases a great new album, that goes relatively unnoticed.
Paramore's new album does not match expectations, but still goes gold.
Panic at the Disco's new album is similar to Pretty. Odd. and is a success.
Cobra Starship continues to not take themselves seriously.

How is Powerspace releasing a good record that gores unnoticed good for a label? I hope that isn't true because I love Powerspace and they deserve to share some of the success from the other FBR bands which is a huge reason I hate that label. The bands that should be successful aren't.

Their van broke down on the way, and they all had to pack into one car to make it to the venue;
they only had room for Mike and Nick's acoustic guitars. The whole show was a mess, to be honest.
The stage they were supposed to play was flooded, so they moved the show into the bar, and the
sound system was a total failure, especially for vocals.

2. Brighten definitly has a good chance. Their stuff is solid and members are touring with FBR bands.
3. NSN should not sign to FBR. He does not nearly stack up to the other artists.
4. This Providence needs this album to be big. They are a great band and really deserves this.
5. I think Powerspace will have more success here than with Kicks of Passion, but it won't sell as much as they deserve.
6. I think Paramore can match expectations of they really want it to and try hard on it.
7. I think PATD will do a mix of Fever and Pretty.Odd. At least, thats what im hoping for.
8. I have heard good things about the next Cobra record. I hear they are working on it extremely hard, and even parts of it will have a much more pop-punk feel, drawing some obvious influence from Midtown... At least that is what I heard.

I hope soon. I think they finished filming it the weekend of the 11th so it's got to be nearly done.

Actually. The rough cut of the video was done around the time frame of the 15th of January. The band had the final locked video around January 22nd and everything has been uploaded (and blocked from the public) to Youtube and Vimeo since the beginning of the month.

It sucks because we've been dying to show the fans. Though, in order to get the best premiere possible, everything had to be kept very underground. So, on behalf of the crew and the band, we do apologize for the delay... as we are just anxious to show everyone. We hope you all love it.

Hell, I don't even know if they are premiering it directly at midnight... I'm hoping they do though.. even though I have a copy on my computer.

About time this got bumped. I think I almost forgot about this...

They should have been on Warped, would have made it 10000000000000000000000000000000000 00000x better.

I listened to them after praise from here and a few friends and I thought they sounded like another shitty all time low-esque band.

Dude. You cant like even hear the auto tune in their songs. These guys are better than most of the bands out there.

You clearly can't hear anything.

Yeah =/ I mean, I'm definitely going to my date. I'd enjoy seeing A Day To Remember, Every Avenue, Hit The Lights, There For Tomorrow, Runner Runner, and Valencia. But I don't even think it's worth going to more than one date, which I usually do. Disappointing.

After I heard their new song on their myspace I claimed that they would single handedly save pop punk and after listening to their album I crowned it the best pop punk album since Cartel's Chroma.

I just wish these guys would get more exposure and tour a little bit more.

I was talking to them at a show about a week ago. They have some pretty awesome tours coming up from now through summer and even in the fall it looks like.

You guys also have to remember it's hard to get real awesome tours when they are still just a small band on Rise Records. But, be patient. There's some really sick stuff.

Exactly. Rise isn't too aware how to promote a pop-punk band. I love Rise to death but they've done nothing to help these guys out.

i think Rise has done quite a bit to help them... they rented out ad space for them, and because of Rise they have secured alot of good shows... but i think its great that Rise is diversifying into the synth scene as well as into pop-punk...

Well Rise has gotten ad space consistently for every release they've had since Plagues. They've been able to tour with Punchline but other than that, they've played with relatively unkown bands. The biggest tour they've ever been on was a tour where each of the other bands delved more into the metal/hardcore end of the spectrum(The Rise Record tour last fall).

my favorite as of now is reckless...

and that is true... the label should try to get them with some bigger, similar-genre bands...
they have the same, but smaller, problem with Breathe Carolina, who always manage to tour with completely different bands like Emarosa, Sky Eats Airplane, and Pierce The Veil until very recently

Well with BC(I know you kinda like Brokencyde), if they were to tour with Brokencyde and Dot Dot Curve, people would have even less respect for them. When they tour with bands like Emarosa, Sky Eats Airplane, etc., it gives them some sort of credibility.

but brokencyde is still within their niche of music...
i think the best tours for them as of yet have been their headlining tour with Every Ave, The Morning Of, and Brokencyde as support AND the Take Action Tous that just ended...
even though they have some "screaming" in their music, the whole pop-punk thing is more their niche...
credibiltiy by touring with the heavier acts does not exactly mean more fans... and only horrible fans listen to a band because of their credibilty...

They don't really have anywhere else to go. But as far as promotion and getting on shows, these guys are pretty do it yourself right now. Craig has given no indication that he plans to really branch the label out anymore by the bands he's signed lately. If he branches out into any genre that he hasn't already signed a ton a bands from, it'll be more like bands similar to In:Aviate and Tides of Man.

That was said well before the backlash of Breathe Carolina and W!TG. I'm not at all saying it's impossible, because it sure as hell is, I just don't beilve he will go in that direction. I hate to admit it, but those bands are extremely trendy and they'll most likely have short career. Business-wise, it's a horrible move to sign bands that may end up having little longevity.
